Equality between men & women…and all that Jazz.

I’m going to take a wild stab here and state what I believe to be obvious—women are as capable as men in just about every way imaginable. Women can bench-press, run a company, run for office, run a country and make as many baskets from the free-throw line as men. A wife can be the pilot and her husband the flight attendant. Mom can be the surgeon and Dad the nurse. Needless to say, equality for men and women is doing quite well in this part of the world. But being equal to a man is different than being the same as a man. Learning what women offer uniquely, not through trying to be equal to men, but through acknowledging what distinguishes her from man, will enable a truer understanding of the balance that men and women bring to each other.

It will probably make dating easier too.
